People and things,
they come and they go,
but,
the dreams we still have,
they never get old.
To be smart and pretty,
to stay young and healthy,
to find one true love then start a family.
So ordinary but such an arduous task to achieve.
We all once thought,
the sun shines brighter above us and only.
That our lifes will be unique and different,
that us,
are someone special.
But days then years,
as we grow we loose our simple heart along with our pride,
smooth and sophisticated.
We evade,
we hide,
give away everything we once were,
to compromise.
Because we realise,
we don't have so much time,
we don't have so much strength or means.
Someday,
we might just,
have a job that we don't like,
have a husband or wife who loves us,
have slight illess but at least a peaceful life.
No true love,
no grand life.
Silently,
we convice ourselves,
it's good enough,
because from the beginning,
we were just one of the crowd.
