This is a lovely story - a Benevolent tigress & avery lucky fawn.
The Benevolent Queen
On the morning of 15th Nov’13 in Tadoba Andhari TigerReserve, we encountered the magnificent Pandharpauni tigress in the thickbushes next to road approaching Tadoba Lake. She seemed to be in an exitedstate. When she⋯⋯ slowly emerged from thebush, I was astonished to observe that she is playing with a spotted deer fawn.As the terrified fawn repeatedly attempted to flee, the tigress kept knockingit over with soft pats. She then proceeded to carry the fawn in her mouth bythe fur of its neck – just like tigresses carry their cubs. She eventually lieddown to rest and let the deer run away.
