MALAMALA TODAY (and yesterday): June 4th: the day got off to a cracking start when we found a single lioness from the Kambula pride, a large crocodile and a kudu bull kill in the Sand River just south of Main Camp- this lioness is also lactating.（6/4号在本天开始的时候，我们发现一头独自一狮的蛮海尼分队母狮，一头大鳄鱼和kudu公羚羊在营地南部的沙河-这头母狮处于哺乳期） Things got even better when we noticed vultures descending in the Sand River just north of Main Camp. As we approached the area we discovered the male cub of the Kikilezi female leopard and he was chasing the birds. Meanwhile, at Clarendon, the other 5 lionesses from the Kambula pride had killed a sub adult buffalo and had 7 riled-up hyenas for company as well as 2 side-striped jackals（另外五头蛮海尼分队母狮.杀了一头亚成年水牛还有七头鬣狗两头侧纹胡狼作伴 Agitated baboons baboons in Main Camp led us to the presence of the Treehouse male leopard who had an impala kill right next to the main swimming pool. Later in the evening, whilst guests were having sundowners at Wild Dog Rocks Open Area, a male leopard walked across the open area as the sun set behind him.
June 5th. 2 of the Gowrie males were found in Piccadilly Triangle and then walked into Marthly and towards Stwise as darkness fell. This is the furthest south we've seen this coalition in a long time and most likely as a result of the Matshapiri males' absence. （两头小伯在piccadilly triangle然后夜幕降临，他们走进marthly朝stwise走去）The 2 young 'Avoca' males moved southwards in the Sand River from Main Camp towards Maxim's Lookout.（两头小牛从主营地往南向沙河走去，前往masim'slook out）The Island female leopard was found crossing over West Street Bridge and moved north though the day ending up at Main Camp entrance this evening. Not too far away, in front of Room 12, was the Treehouse male leopard. He's still feeding on his impala kill with a hyena lurking nearby. The male cub of the Kikilezi was seen again just west of Main Camp along the southern bank of the Sand River. Our Main Camp was literally surrounded by leopards today.
Many elephant sightings were recorded over the last two days as well as multiple herds of buffalo and a honey badger.
