任何一个对美国新闻业抱有过分的美好幻想的人看到此片也会知道，有些问题即使是在民主社会也是存在的。

Essence of journalism is discipline of verification.

*有人难以理解把新闻做成审判室（courtroom）的意义，

Will和Mackenzie开始将news night做成一个公共的辩论会。当然这个public debate的存在合理性完全取决于Will作为一个审判官
