NEW YORK, July 18 (Reuters) - Coca-Cola Co. (KO.N: Quote, Profile, Research), the world's biggest soft-drink maker, on Tuesday posted stronger-than-expected profit helped by growth in Brazil and China and increased sales of PowerAde sports drink and Dasani bottled water.
The Atlanta-based company, whose shares rose 1 percent in premarket trading, reported second-quarter profit of $1.84 billion, or 78 cents a share, from $1.72 billion, or 72 cents a share, a year earlier.
