As your 30th birthday draws near, we Chinese fans have decided to write down our feelings and best wishes to you here as a kind of birthday gift. Hopefully you'll see this.
Personally, I was enchanted by your voice the first time I listened to Goddamned. Then as I listened to all your songs, watched your MVs and Shortbus, and even had one-to-one communication with you via emails, my love for you became more staunch each time; it's unfaltering now. It is when listening to your songs that I relish in the sheer beauty and smoothness of a guy's voice, that I marvels so frequently at someone's amazing talent, and get cheered up, cast down, or become wistful, or start to meditate. You are so special to me, unlike my other favorite singers. I just can't help myself anymore once drowned in your emotions that overflow from the tunes and always ripple mine. Well, sounds exaggerating, but you are indeed that special. I believe many other fans feel the similar way.
I hope you will never stop making such wonderful music as you have made. And please remember that in this country there's a group of loyal fans who will always support you. Will it be too much to ask you to come to China some day and give us a show? :)
