British boy band The Wanted aren't just making waves across the Atlantic. The five-piece were mobbed as they journeyed across the English Channel to France yesterday.
No
sooner had they stepped of the train at Gare du Nord Eurostar station
than they were immediately surrounded by a swarm of female fans.
As always there wasn’t a hint of a prima
donna amongst the fivesome as they gladly stopped and chatted to
supporters, posed for pictures and signed autographs.Max
George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes
looked as cool as ever and took the whole thing in their stride, smiling
and joking throughout.
One lucky admirer even got a hug from Nathan.
Jay meanwhile was happy enough to
pose for photos, but there was no way he was letting go of his precious
packet of French biscuits. Even though he had a packet of 68 cookies to himself, he still insisted bandmate Tom try eat slimier local cuisine.
‘Trying to convince @TomTheWanted to eat snail...’ he posted on Twitter shortly after arriving. The Glad You Came singers were in Paris to play a single gig at the VIP room last night. After that they return to the UK to perform at the Love Luton Festival on Friday and T in the Park in Scotland on Sunday.
The boys showed no sign of tiredness despite their recent hectic schedule.
In
the past few days they have launched their new music video for Chasing
The Sun which appears on the Ice Age 4: Continental Drift soundtrack, as
well as performing at T4 On The Beach at Weston-Super-Mare.
They even had time to carry the Olympic Torch through Birmingham!
