The Vampire Diaries' Elena Gilbert has a new attitude and a new hairstyle to go along with it.
In the upcoming episode "Because the Night," Damon (Ian Somerhalder) takes Elena (Nina Dobrev) on an adventure to New York City in an effort to get her mind off of recent events(RIP, Jeremy!). Judging from our exclusive first look from the episode, it appears that Elena has gotten a new look on her trip by adding some red streaks and stylish new waves to her tresses.
But perhaps more important than the new 'do is the big fat smile on her face. Has alone time with Damon positively affected the newly dark (and emotionless) vampire?
And does this mean he's allowed her to "turn back on" her emotions?
