Where did you grow up?你在哪里长大的？
I grew up in Eastern-Helsinki, but let’s rather say I should have “grown up” at least a bit more. I haven’t grown up yet, and am not intending to do so.
我在东赫尔辛基长大，不过我觉得我们可以换个说法。我其实还没长大，而且也还没有这个打算。（P叔倒是实在得很= =）

What would you be doing professionally if you hadn’t become a cellist and part of Apocalyptica?如果你没有成为一个提琴手和Apo的成员，你会做什么？
I love animals, very much. Most likely something to do with them, protecting.我特别爱动物，超级爱。所以很有可能我会从事跟动物有关的工作，比如说动物保护什么的。（OMG我好爱Perttu蜀黍T T！！！！！打滚~！~！~！）

How did you meet the other guys of the band?你是怎么认识乐队的其他人的？
We met long time ago. Also we all studied in the same Academy, and played in the same orchestra. I have known Eicca around 22-24 years.我们很久以前就认识了。而且我们在一个学校上学，还在同一个乐团演奏过。我认识Eicca可能已经有22到24年了吧。

How come you decided to rejoin the band in 1999?你为什么决定在1999年重新回归Apo呢？
When I first time appeared in the line up in 95 I was just 17 years old and had all my studies unfinished and some competitions ahead. Lots to do in classical genre, so we thought it is better for me to concentrate for those things first and rejoin Apo when the time is right.一开始跟Apo混的时候是95年，那时候我才17岁，学业什么的都没完成，还有一些比赛要准备。古典乐方面有很多要学的，所以我们一直认为我最好还是先好好上学，等时候差不多了再重新回到Apo。

What is your favorite Apocalyptica album/song?你最喜欢的Apo专辑/曲目是哪一张/首？
Favorite Apocalyptica-album? Whoa. All of them and none. Every album means a lot and have felt the best one after we’ve done it, but I admire our attitude and raw energy in Cult, for that time Cult was very brave and brutally innovative package, now I love the variety of dimensions in 7th Symphony, this has been an extraordinary and amazing journey through all the records and I’m EAGER to see where the hell will we still find ourselves!最喜欢的Apo专辑？哇哦。这太难说了。每一张专辑完成之后我们都觉得这是迄今为止最好的作品了，但我很欣赏我们在Cult时期的态度和那种原始的冲动。因为在当时Cult是一次充满了莽撞和新意的尝试。现在我也很喜欢7th Symphony里的多元和广度，一路走来这也算是是一次超棒的体验，而我也很期待看到我们如何能依旧找到自己。

What do you do when you are not touring or recording?你在不巡演和不录音的时候都干什么呢？
Trying my best forgetting touring and recording. I’m very good in doing nothing, I mean if you just staying on the sofa and eat pizza. Maybe watch movies, play games. I can spend unbelievably long times like that. When I’m in more active phase of my life I just compose new music, that’s pretty nice too.尽一切可能忘掉巡演和录音这两件事。无所事事简直就是我的强项，比如说窝在沙发上吃披萨。可能还会看看电影玩玩游戏。我能就这样过相当长的时间。如果当时的状态比较嗨的话我就谱点新曲子，那样也挺爽的。

What music do you listen to at home?你在家的时候都听点什么？
I don’t listen to much music at home, I prefer silence, but when driving or traveling, spending loads of time in some boring vehicle, my favorite music is opera (Verdi/Wagner etc), Amon Amarth, Radiohead, Arch Enemy, Mr. Bungle, Muse, Slipknot, Judas Priest, 2pac and E-Type, and hundreds of amazing artists around, I love all kinds of music.在家的时候我不怎么听音乐，我更喜欢寂静。不过开车或者旅行的时候我最喜欢用威尔第和瓦格纳的歌剧来打发时间，Amon Amarth, Radiohead, Arch Enemy, Mr. Bungle, Muse, Slipknot, Judas Priest, 2pac和E-Type什么的也会听。牛掰的艺术家太多了，我喜欢任何形式的音乐。

Is there a gig that you have perceived as being especially great?对你来说哪一场演出尤为出彩？
For me the most memorable so far gig has been summer of 2012 gig in Savonlinna Opera Festivals, because I finally got to perform on that stage where I wanted as a child. Life is interesting; you never know when some of your dreams come true.我觉得对我来说对值得铭记的演出时2012年夏天Savonlinna Opera Festival的那一场，因为我终于站在了我还是个孩子的时候就渴望登上的舞台。人生就是这么有趣，你永远都不会知道你的梦想在什么时候成为现实。
