At first glance,we can learn that the number of vehicles sold show a very difference between U.S and China market from 1980 to 2008 . In my opinion,the main reason is related to the difference of the economic growth and technology development and population.
On the one hand ,we all knew that China government has implemented policy of the Reform and Opening up from 1978 to now ,which make China’s economics’ high growth. Decades ago, could see a car running in the street, it is definitely uncommon , and as Chinese people's living standards improved from 1980 to 2008,gradually the car came to our lives so that more and more Chinese people buy cars as the line chart shows that the number of vehicles sold in China continue to grow. How ever,though the U.S. Economy originally developed and the number of vehicles is greater than China’s,and it won’t increase obviously.In addition to this,with the technology developed at its top speed,manufacturing process of automobile made huge progress in China while American had reached its advanced development,which made the Chinese life glorious .As a result,more people buy cars in China.In the end, the number of vehicles of China caught up with America.
On the other hand,China has the largest papulation base in the world,which is five times larger than that of America, so there will be more Chinese people would buy vehicles than American.And the difference also differs from the cultural diversity .For example ,when Chinese people get married ,they would be required to buy a car by social pressure but it dosen't matter in America.
As far as we all known that the smog is more and more serious in China ,and that vehicle emissions made bad differences.Behind the vehicles sales growth ,the emissions lead to the pollution to the environment .So we don't have to buy cars in the future in order to make our earth better and better.And I consider it that our government should not o ne-sided to grow economic,we should take other side into consideration.And we should learn to America.
