You claimed that A's experience is worth sharing because it is relatively unique, as A had been studying in sciences or humanities overseas. But every International student's life experience is different. To be more specific, the difference between a math Student working on mathematical physics and a math Student working on arithmetic geometry is much greater than the difference between a biology Student working on dynamics in population biology and a history Student working on seven year's war. There is simply no fine line that distinguishes the methodology adopted by one field of research from that of the other field until you fix a specific research topic. You cannot judge others' experience by your imagination alone if you do not have any knowledge of the subject yourself. Do some work first before asking at here. Otherwise, what is the point? Even if someone showed you his or her thesis and told you roughly how it was done, can you read it carefully and appreciate what he or she really contributed to his/her field?
