Q: With your perfume “Woman” you’ve said that you want to empathize the feminine side that we all have. When do you feel most feminine and beautiful yourself?
CA: Different stages in life represent different things, but for me right now it is when I feel totally in balance and rest in myself, because then I am sure that I radiate the best and most beautiful side of myself. But to feel feminine and beautiful don’t have to be related to your outer look. Therefore I for example think that it’s fun to create scents, because a scent enhances a unique quality in each single person who wears it.
Q: What else is the special about scents in your eyes?
CA: Us woman is always on the go. We are so busy with jobs, family and kids and that’s why it is the little details as a scent that can do a difference. Also, it takes no time to take a perfume on, unlike to put on makeup, do your hair or decide what to wear. To use a scent is so easy. Also, a scent can empathize your mood, make you feel special, and then they are able to remind you, that you have to remember yourself in your everyday life, which we unfortunately have a tendency to forget.
Q: Besides your own scents, what kinds of scent do you care about?
CA: There are so many scents that I love to have around me, when I for example have to relax in the evening and turn on scented candles or take a steam bath. I love to use eucalyptus oils which I spray everywhere. The scent opens my senses and makes me feel fresh and rejuvenated after a long day. I also love flowers like lavender and magnolia. Q: There is magnolia in your new scent, so that have to be one of your favourites?
CA: Yes, I actually have many magnolias in my bathroom, where I want to feel extra feminine. They are known as this life giving flower that symbolize beauty, fertility and endurance, and it is just these things I want you as a woman to feel like. [难为你擦还记得"花木兰"
Q: You seem to me as a woman who always rest in yourself. What is your secret?
CA: Of cause we all have our hard days, where we hit our self in the head, but I try to always remain the essence of myself, no matter what. I keep a diary and always write down my thoughts and feelings. I think that is super important, because the better you know yourself the smaller is the risk of letting you be controlled and affected by other people’s meanings. As a famous person it is especially hard because you are always getting pulled and pushed from all sides, so in my case it’s even more important to know who I am and to keep ground connection. Q: Has there been a specific moment in your life, where you learned to accept yourself as you are and feel confident?
CA: For every year that goes by I feel stronger, wiser and more confident as a woman. But a big turning point for me was when I became a mother for the first time. Then I really realised who I was as a woman, what it means, and what I can offer.
Q: Which women are beautiful in your eyes?
CA: For me beauty right now is not so much about what you see on the surface. What I personally is attracted to is on the other hand strong types of women. I have always been very inspired by older women, because you can see that they have this knowledge; this wisdom and experience that show that they have been living a life and been on a long journey. That is so sexy, and for me much sexier than the kind of beauty that many sees at the prototype of beauty. I prefer substance.
Q: You are known to experiment a lot with your look, but what is your favorite look for everyday life/casual?
CA: It’s important for me to keep a good hydration and to be moisturized. I always wear a hat, because I don’t want to ruin my hair, and I actually hate the sun. It quickly becomes too much for me. If I’m just at home and not going anywhere or getting camera ready, I like to just have a healthy and moisturized skin, and I always look for new good products. Q: What else do you do to maintain a healthy lifestyle?
CA: I work out, but anything that is to consuming, I prefer to skip. I prefer something that gets me down in gear and makes me relaxed. I do yoga and I am crazy about my yoga instructor. She is down to earth and totally focused. She is one of those woman I really look up to, and who always looks amazing in my eyes, because she radiates inner strength. I also enjoy walking in the nature, which is good for the soul and in the end rubs off on my radiance. I actually just try to keep to the simple and make things as easy for me as possible.
