"My relationship with religion is we're very distant friends, grew up Catholic and went to Catholic school when I was younger, and as I got older I started to think for myself, so I'm personally not a very religious person at all, but you know, I have no problem with it.
I'm more of a spiritual person, I'd say. I'm not religious at all. But everyone needs some sort of catharsis and something to keep that centered in life," she muses. "Whether that be religion or meditation or to me, it's music, music is my religion. I sold my soul for rock and roll.
"I'm not an atheist, because I believe that I know nothing. But I also don't believe in anything, either. So... you don't want to know what I think, I've got a f**ked up brain. Follow someone else, don't follow me. I don't know what I'm talking about. Songwriting and art can drive you mental, as it's been shown repeatedly. This year I cut off my hair, next I'll cut off my ear," she giggles.
