From Renaissance to contemporary art, looking at the development of art history, we find an interesting phenomenon. More and more artists take interior space as the carrier of their artistic expression, especially "bedroom". We can guess several simple reasons for this: first, bedroom is one of the long life of artists. It is not surprising for artists to express themselves more because of their unconscious relationship with artists. Secondly, the bedroom itself has its own particularity, which is privacy, individuality, a place belonging only to individuals. The stories, metaphors and attractions in it are rich and attractive.
After a thorough study of the reasons, this paper concludes three corollaries on why the theme of bedroom is constantly expressed by artists through the analysis of a large number of artists and their works: 1. The bedroom can be recorded directly, and the representative works are Vincent van Gogh's Bedroom in Al. Egon Schiller's "Bedroom"; 2. The bedroom can be reconstructed, with David Hockney's "The Room"; 3. The bedroom carries metaphors, such as Antonio Lopez Garcia's "Tommy Rosso Room" and Eric Fisher's "Bad Boys".
