As the Chinese lunar New Year of the rat approaches, the COVID-19 is wreaking havoc in Wuhan and across the country.The whole city was closed. Millions of people are forced to stay at home. Thousands of doctors and nurses have applied to come to Wuhan to save this super city. An atmosphere of anxiety and fear pervaded the city.
Since the disease began to spread, Wuhan Railway Group Corporation has done a good job in the prevention and control of infectious diseases step by step, complied with the instructions and requirements of the unit, and sounded the horn to fight against the epidemic. The leaders called on all of you to stick to your posts, scientifically prevent and control the epidemic, and stabilize safe production and operation, demonstrating the courage and spirit of high-speed railway workers in facing the epidemic. Located on the outskirts of Wuhan, Hengdian East railway station is a railway crossing station, located at the intersection of Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed railway and Shanghai-Chengdu high-speed railway. The traffic and living conditions in this work area are extremely inconvenient. As the outbreak of the epidemic, the Wuhan Municipal Government issued a city closure order, and many employees were unable to come to work in the station area.Thus there were only three high-speed rail signal workers at Hengdian East Station: Donglong Zhang, Li lang, Mengtai Qi , who formed a "three-communist commando". They have been working continuously for more than 40 nights. Frequent changes in the temperature in early spring have a great impact on railway signaling equipment, leading to hidden safety hazards and increasing the workload of signal workers.
