As the well-known proverb goes, "Knowledge makes us humble, and ignorance makes us proud." This prover reveals that people with much knowledge tend to be humbler, while those who are ignorance tend to be more arrogant. I can't agree with this proverb more.
Indeed, the phenomenon as described in the proverb is fairly commom in our daily life. How does this phenomenon appear? On the one hand, people with much knowledge tend to keep learning throughout their life. They try their best to make progress and never give up absorbing new ideas. Just as the old saying goes, " One is never too old to learn." On the other hand, the ignorant are accustomed to being self-righteous and arrogant. Their pride clouds their visions, which makes them remain stagnant. They think they know everything and speak loudly among people everywhere. But if we make a detailed inquiry, we may find that they know nothing at all.
All in all, we should keep learning all the time. Never be proud, or we will come to a satndstill one day.
