As autumn fades, haze floats, winter draws near,
Crows in droves, swift and agile, appear.
Their shadows play, a dance of cunning and banter,
Their cries pierce through the passersby's ears.
Alone on high, they flaunt their sharp wit,
A show that exudes pride and grit.

Flying freely from south to north,
They journey ever, never to pause.
Being stout, strong, and robust,
They compete for sustenance in the dust,
As smoke rises, warmth and comfort they trust.
