In the chill of winter's Nines,
snow blankets the streams,
By the fireside, we reminisce
of years that once seemed.

Though the earth is frozen,
our hearts are not cold,
With smiles in the season,
we add warmth to the old.

As wintersweets bloom fragrance,
they herald the spring's morn,
We praise their resilience,
standing firm against thorns.
Playing with ice and snow,
our childlike spirits are free,
At the year's end and the start,
we find peace, quietly.

Last Sunday I visited the Olympic Park and saw those playing on the skating ground that actually was not very safe.

SKATING RINK is a serIous name we must know.

LOTUS IN ICE'S EMBRACE

Withered lotus shadows cast upon a pond, Ice-bound water's still, without a wave or sound. Branches skeletal, the pond's embrace grows cold, Tall poplars whisper as the winds blow bold.

Ancient bridge spans the eons, long and wide, Bustling visitors, their voices soft and mild. Youthful play, oblivious to the winter's chill, Skipping stones to break the ice, a simple thrill.
I tread the path, my heart far from the fray, Wandering in search of solitude, my mind at play. Suddenly, a flock of ducks take to the sky, Passersby, astonished, joy fills their sigh.

By keeping writing, good or not its results or products or works, we progress, bit by bit though. We must happy with such little fruits.

It's so cold on the street. My fingers feel unhappy when hitting the keys for too long time.

By keeeping walking on foot, we see more and more, pretty or not, the scenery or scenarios. Everything around is changing. So we may collect more and more for a meaningful life that we love to pursue.

Keeping a writing habit is good.

For that skating "rink", the security kept using a loud speaker to warn that skating is dangerous, but people stayed fooling around. I heard ice cracking several times, one crack just running through underneath my feet!
