为什么要科普WTCC？
在中国，关注WTCC的人相对其他国家少很多，甚至可以说极少有人问津，而在中国，关于WTCC的文章除了赛况之外又是少之又少。中国各大搜索引擎对WTCC历史或WTCC介绍的反馈中都几乎没有任何一篇真正是介绍的文章，于是想到了写关于WTCC的文章。

Lopez首次参加WTCC,是在2013年。当时BMW带着320TC参战，Lopez正是驾驶着320TC，为BMW的Wiechers Sport车队分别获得了35个积分，并登上一次领奖台。2014年，BMW退出WTCC，转战DTM与灯和霉奔对阵，雪铁龙登上舞台。Lopez转而进驻雪铁龙军团。跳槽雪铁龙以后，他驾驶着爱丽舍在23场比赛中多的了17场胜利。
2015赛季，WTCC赛场上的竞争更为激烈，Lopez在今年泰国站Round22的比拼中还在U型弯冲出了赛道，虽然没有落下前几名的位置，但也落在了雪铁龙军团的后部失去了第一的位置。不过，Lopez正仍然在通过自己的实力，扳回一局。
